Silvia Pittorru
Tourist guide
I am a tourist guide who has worked for a long time in the archaeological sites of Arzachena and who has been carrying out guided tours in the Gallura area for several years.
I have a degree in language mediation and I speak fluent German and English.
Thanks to my good linguistic knowledge I can make tourists appreciate the beautiful territory in which I live by guiding them in visiting the most significant historical places and sites of natural interest and landscape of the area.
Each tour is an experience and a way to appreciate our valuable natural resources and to get in touch with our culture, history and tradition.
Sonia Pala
Archaeologist
I am an archaeologist who has been involved in dissemination for many years. In particular, I deal with experimental archaeology and didactics. I managed the archaeological monuments of Arzachena for 15 years.
I designed and set up the Laboratory Museum of the Nuragic Age (LabENur) in the old railway station of Arzachena where I carry out these activities with the intention of helping the public to get to know the Nuragic Civilization (1600-500 BC).
In 2006 I published with Taphros: “The Story of Pitr” a Neolithic adventure in the village of Li Muri and with the same publisher, together with Marina Pala and Egidio Trainito, a study on the history and traditions of Monti Zoppu, an area of the Costa Smeralda, “ Nature and history in Costa Smeralda”.
I am also a tourist guide. My work is a reason for living. I like to tell people who come on holiday about the places where I live, their history and the vicissitudes that have brought them here from the Nuragic Age to the present day and turned them into an internationally famous tourist location.
