The Labenur Museum has been working in the field of education for several years and offers a wide range of activities suitable for schools of all levels, carried out by operators specialized in the field of educational services.
The educational workshops are designed and implemented with the intention of encouraging interaction between the participants and the operator and to make them protagonists in the use, observation and research.
They have been designed and structured with the awareness that curiosity, emotions, fun and direct participation are the fundamental ingredients of learning.
They include a theoretical and a practical part in which the participants can feel protagonist in doing and aware of what they have learnt.
The various activities can be adapted according to the needs of the school and the teachers.
The Green Train
Trenino Verde point
The Labenur Museum is also a Trenino Verde Point where you can book and buy tickets for excursions with the Green Train on the line from Palau to Tempio Pausania.
Usually from April the tracks come back to life and a long whistle announces the arrival of the old diesel locomotive of the 50s.
On board Breda carriages of about a century ago, it is possible to reach the heart of Gallura among cork trees, granite and suggestive views of Liscia Lake.
Until 11 June, the journeys with the green train are only available on Sundays on the Luras-Tempio and Tempio-Luras line.
